About Me

I’m a child and adolescent therapist licensed in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. I work with children, teens, and young adults ages 7 and up. I frequently support clients with ADHD and neurodivergent profiles, particularly where attention, emotion regulation, and relationships intersect.

Approach

My approach is grounded in supporting kids, teens and families to feel more confident, capable, and effective navigating the real world — including school demands, peer relationships, and family dynamics — while staying true to who they are. Therapy is practical, evidence-based, and tailored to your child’s unique strengths and goals, with an emphasis on fostering insight and building skills to navigate everyday life.

Many of the clients I work with appear to be “doing fine” on the outside, but feel overwhelmed or exhausted underneath. That overwhelm often shows up as big emotions (especially at home), social stress, difficulty with transitions, or growing frustration around school and daily expectations.

I work closely with parents as partners in the process. I take time to understand each family’s context, values, and culture, and draw on evidence-based strategies to support parents in ways that feel realistic and sustainable. I aim to create a collaborative process that reduces shame and self-blame and supports families in responding more effectively to everyday challenges.
