  • Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is an evidence-based treatment designed for young children and their families experiencing negative behaviors and/or emotional difficulties. PCIT is the most effective treatment for children ages two to seven that are causing distress for the child, the parent, which many times these disruptive behaviors also extend to daycare and/or school. Together we will be working with the parent and child to reduce the stress.

Certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy Adapted for Selective Mutism (PCIT-SM) and approved as a PCIT-SM trainer, Meredith embarked on this path over a decade ago when her own children were diagnosed with SM.

    Alongside her expertise in anxiety, mood disorders, and emotional regulation, Meredith is passionate about utilizing a strengths-based approach to empower both children and parents.

    Additionally, Meredith co-authors the award-winning "I Have a Question" children's book series and crafts short stories to aid children in navigating daily challenges and emotions. As a PCIT-SM Certified Therapist and Approved Trainer, Meredith is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to children and families affected by selective mutism
