I am a licensed clinical social worker in Washington, DC. I specialize in trauma, sexual trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, self-esteem issues and relationship challenges. I have experience working with a diverse client population in terms of ages. I have experience working in different settings including schools, and outpatient mental health environments.
Approach
I believe in a client-centered collaborative approach working alongside clients. I am trained in a number of therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness practices and EMDR. I believe the modalities are resources to support clients in their healing journeys. I strive to maintain an anti-oppressive and LGBTQIA+ affirming practice.
